Chapeter 2

The night ended very peacefully in sleep on this planet.

It became morning,We woke up and discovered that our space station had blasted in the previous night .we did not thought about what the reason for blast but instead we resumed our mission. As we took an oath not to stop on any account, and even to risk life, before the mission started.Now The sky is bright, we are moving along the given direction as directed by our head.

We went passing through many trees but we wondered for not finding any living creature or even a water body.

The day passed finally boring. It became evening; we removed our suits and rested at a place. I found chaitra trying to hear something. She suddenly got up and told Michel to stop talking.

 The entire place became calm; I heard the sounds of flowing water .we all 3 headed towards that direction. The wind speed is also more from that direction. We started to move very fast towards that direction.

Finally clearing many trees it became dark. we reached the place and found a river.

Michel: thank god! Jesus you are there.

(Michel saying so, went towards the river and drank some water)

I am still in doubt of how the water be on this planet.

So I took a small sample of this river water  and sat on a rock and started my experiments on the water.

The dusk finally became night  .

I finally found the components of the water.

Hydrogen is 20%,I thought the rest will be oxygen but after my experiment for oxygen I found only 10% oxygen. The rest components are unknown.

I immediately ran towards my friends to see Michel.

He became green in color .his eyes his face his hair all his body parts became green.

But it seems to be nothing dangerous to him.

I so promised him that I will make him into normal soon.

That night chaitra and myself sat with him,chaitra helped a lot to him.

Coming to the matter of chaitra ,she is a young beautiful girl,she always takes everything  serious, she is very helpful  .I never saw chaitra looking happy ,but I want her to make happy .i know her well because we both are from the same institute but her dream is to become a army member .

5 years back…….

      While I am studying in IIT kharagpur, I used to work hard there as my ultimate aim is to become a scientist. I struggled a lot in reaching my aim. I used to have large magnifier type spectacles. I used to call there as a book warm . if I found missing anywhere in the college then I will surely found  In library or in laboratory.

As my days are going like this…..

One day,

 It was winter morning 10:00am I am writing my exam on chemistry in exam hall. The room was silent except a disturbance outside the room in the stadium .

Generally in india January is a month of winter with chilled air. I am seated beside a window. The chilled air is almost freezing me. I am finding my answers in my brain.

Suddenly a football came from the window and hilted my face to which I am thrown down onto the floor from my chair. After fraction of seconds I am found on the floor. I got up immediately and took the ball and ran to the stadium angrily.

I reached the stadium and found only girls in the stadium, but I shouted to them

I:      who kicked the ball into the exam room.

The whole stadium became silent but a voice came from the middle of the girls “I KICKED THE BALL” Saying this chaitra came in front of me. My voice almost fainted seeing her.

I:      take the ball it came into the exam room. But it’s ok.

Chaitra:   why IT’S OK, I did not told sorry to you.

I:              ok then take the ball.

Saying so I left the stadium and chaitra went again into the game. I felt something in myself. After the exam I  went to my room and looked myself into the mirror.. i took away my spectacles combed my hair neatly and took a nice perfume and also took a red rose in my pocket to propose chaitra.

I reached the stadium.

 I confused to do what until she come outside the stadium .I saw 4 to 5 men sitting on their bikes and operating their mobile phones. I too went to parking place and chooses a bike and sat on it and started to operate my mobile phone.After a hour chaitra came outside, I saw her and finally combed my hair seeing in the bike’s mirror and saw towards her .but I shocked to see the 4 to 5 persons who sat on their bikes and monitored their mobiles proposing chaitra. She then gave slaps to everyone and saw me .she started towards me. I started to sweat and feel nervous; she came finally in front of me. I threw the rose from my pocket down on the floor.

Chaitra came to me and said,

Chaitra:   excuse me this is my bike.

I :     oh….sorry .

Saying sorry I started to move away from her ,but I heard chaitra calling me back. I turned nervously and went to her.

Chaitra:  Vikram, take your rose it fell down from your pocket.

I took the rose and went to my room.

I’m happy  that she at least except she gave my rose back.

I opened my room door ,and kept the rose on the table and took a fresh bath and sat on my chair to study .while I am studing I glanced towards the rose at once .

After Seeing the pink rose in a close look I recognized that it is not the rose I gave to her as I gave her a red rose.

First day on Zod

1.        FIRST DAY ON ZOD

It is silent and dark in my cabin.

 There is a loud commotion outside my cabin in our space station which is floating in higher orbit of the zod planet.

 I opened my eyes the cabin is totally dark. My entire cabin is of the size of a bus. I m still laying on my bed, I realised that the commotion outside my cabin may be due to the excitement of the scientists and army members  for the exploration of the new planet. I too got notification to get ready from the chief of the “ZOD MISSION”.

I got up and wore my shirt and rubbed my eyes in the dark heading towards the cabin door by walking (here in space station we can walk due to artificial gravity).

 I opened the door and found other scientists ,some are carrying oxygen cylinders ,some are having breakfast, and some still asleep in their cabins.

“Oops sorry!!! I started all this before introducing me lets again go back to the bed and begin with my introduction.”

“I am VIKARAM, I m from India. I actually use to work as a scientist in India, learning and discovering new chemicals and formulas. I belong to west Bengal. When the world space association started THE ZOD MISSION I was selected as one of the scientist from India.

We finally reached zod after 9 months of travel. Today we are going to land on the zod planet. Now lets continue from the commotion”.

I went into my cabin and dressed up in space suite and drank hot evaporating coffee with a pile of biscuits which made me feel somewhat better.

Now, I took my belongings for explore and locked my cabin and went to the main cabin to report my attendance to the chief of the zod planet mission.

In the main cabin…..

Vikram-    Good morning sir,

Chief-      Well Mr.Vikram, good morning…..

                Have you met your companions?

Vikram:-  Who sir?

Chief :      Your team…

                 Oh ….! Sorry I forgot to give your army team members details to you.

                ( chief took 3 photos of my companions for my zod mission and handed to me)

Vikram :  Thank you sir..

Chief :      Good Luck….

I took those photos and went to military cabin and met my 3 companions chaitra, John and Michael. All three were well trained guys. I shook my hands with everyone. We four were ordered to go to space shuttle A31 and exit to the planet Zod. We all four went into space shuttle A31. The door locked and the shuttle vibrated vigorously and quick blasted onto the planet zod.

We landed on the planet. We opened the space shuttle door and peeped out of the door.

       The view all around from the surface of zod planet is wonderful. There were total green trees and bright lighting in the sky .The sky is pink in color, the land has green moons and nearer planets are clearly visible in the sky.

        We set to start our exploration.

In the entire first day on zod, the result and activities of each are:

Vikram-   Examining every chemical and storing those samples in samples box and Found a fluid in every tree which is green in color with shiny white particles in it.

Chaitra:    Calm and serious, reacting for every little sound and she kept on keeping an eye on surroundings. of course  she is a pretty beautiful girl.

Michel      kept on talking with me, asking about everything he saw on the planet.

John         silent and kept on walking like a dumb man with a gun in hand.

                        It became dim evening, we all opened  our space suits as this time oxygen supports for human breath.

              

                All three sat on a trunk of a fallen tree and drank water in a bottle .

               “Wait ! we are three….. where is the other”.

All of us confused at once and started to shout for the missing John.

We all 3 went on searching for him in different directions and finally it became night while searching him.

Now the night is silent on this planet. I am almost tired of looking for John. Even his navigator G.P.S machine left with me. I stopped at a place finally and called other two who went for searching john using G.P.S to my position. We all 3 met again at the place.We were sad for missing John.

Michel brought the pieces of broken green branches and lightened a campfire which gave great lighting to the dark place where we were. We kept our self warm sitting on the broken tree trunk.

The chilled air made me feel pleasure, apart from John’s missing. All three sat around the fire. Michael and Chaitra went into sleep.

The moons shined like stars in sky. The cool air making me to feel drowsy and I too went into sleep .the campfire flame is now slowly decreasing. The deathly stillness of the surroundings jungle started. There were sounds of moving wind but the silence of the forest always returned to swallow them up.

In this silent suddenly the SPACE STATION in the higher orbit BLASTED and its parts feel on the planet but we were in deep sleep.

• Now they were helpless.

•   Will there 3 are going to find john?

• Who is Chaitra? How is she related to Vikram ?

• Are there any living creatures on this planet ?

• Will all they survive till end…..!!!

Introduction

THE ZOD PLANET INTRODUCTION

This planet is located in Arnomeda galaxy. This planet is completely green in color from outer space. It is the 13^th planet of a solar system. This solar system has 2 natural stars(suns).this planet has 35 moons which will appears like stars in the sky at nights.

This planet has 29 hours of day time and 432 days in a year. The entire green color of the planet is due to the presence of tree which occupy 90% of the planet these trees roots, branches, trunks, leaves all are in light green in color.

Due to the abundance of more trees, more oxygen is present, but a human cannot survive here due to the over limit of oxygen. During Evenings and nights the temperature of the planet and oxygen level are adequate to humans. Coming to the gravity, we need the strength to lift 1 kg vegetables to lift a leaf on this planet.

HUMAN DEVELOPMENT IN ZOD MISSION

Humans created  communication system for the scientists who are going to explore the planet and weapons for the self defense with space army. Coming to details 8 scientists, 48 space army members are taking part in this mission. All scientists are from different countries ,this mission is launched with thousands of crores of budget from all countries.

G.P.S navigation  system and MIAB(miniature integrated atom bomb) satellites are introduced into the lower orbit of the zod planet, by using space vehicles .Rovers are sent into the planet to detect the atmosphere and send photos of the planet. Now we are going to learn how human is going to live  on this mysterious planet.
