HER 2

       Her 2
“We reached the science festival venue and presented our presentations there. After some hours from completing my presentation, the program started to get bore.
At afternoon, I had my lunch and sat in the main hall of the venue where the prize distribution is going to be held. Slowly the hall was filled by the students and professors, and the boring prize distribution started.

Suddenly my mobile vibrated. I saw it, it is from her.

Her: where are you?

Me: in front rows… where are you?

Her: just look behind you

My heart beat increased and it is like, I am hearing my heart beat loudly as it is in front of mike on stage. I slowly turned back to see her, my heart beating at its full extent, as I turned back I am looking into her eyes. That feel is awesome when I turned towards her but she is already looking at me. This situation is damn cool. There are no words to describe this feeling.

Finally the boring program ended at 6 in the evening, but as we came out of the hall it is raining hard, our professor said to madam.
Professor: it looks like this rain is falling nonstop since afternoon, it is also getting dark, and the railway                            station is too far from here so let’s go by bus to our town at the bus stop located a few                              foot steps ahead.
To these words of professor madam agreed and we are at the bus station a half an hour later.

We all boarded the bus, I preferred the window seat, she too got into the bus and sat just before seat of mine with her friend. I started to play music from my playlist in my head set.

It Is a dimly lit cloudy evening and the rain stopped finally, an dour bus is on wheels just after a minute.

The rain stopped and the bus is now moving through the middle of the city. I am watching the colorful shopping malls and marts which are receding as the bus is moving on the water filled roads of the city. The sight of the colorful city at this evening is awesome and the soft music in my ears added more feel to this sight.

The bus slowly crossing the city and reached the out skirts of the city, the bus is running smooth on the rain washed high way road. The sight of the fields and open places beside the high way in that dimly lit cloudy evening and the music running in ears bought goose bumps.

Slowly we crossed the city; in the bus it is silent and dark. The chilled air coming from outside from the window, the dimly lit evening sky, the beautiful climate, the water filled wet roads, the soft music in ears, and the bus journey with her on this high way made me feel something in me. Which I can’t explain. I enjoyed the feel in that dark evening journey.

I enjoyed every second in that dimly lit evening, and the soft music and among all the silence between us made me feel more pleasant.

The time is running, the couple of hours passed greatly, the evening dusk is turning into night, we are nearer to our town, I wanted to travel like this for some more hours and few more kilometers.

The bus finally brought us to our town after travelling a 100 kilometers of tireless journey. The time is almost 9, all the students got down the bus and started to their houses.

She turned towards me at the last instant we are leaving and gave a smile of bye.

I too got down the bus and started towards my house, walking lonely on the dark rain pooled roads. I am still remembering the entire scenario in the bus and enjoyed the feeling with her I experienced.

Though we even didn’t talk to each other today, I enjoyed every second with her as we communicated through the silence which ran between us in the entire journey. So I enjoyed our first meeting outside as we are unable to meet in college as we are not allowed to meet so.

Now, I reached home almost tired. I took a warm bath and some hot dinner.
I composed a good night message and without waiting for reply I slipped in to a comfortable pleasant sleep.

I got up in the morning; it was raining hard since mid night. This monsoon season looks like the best season for me. I took a glance at the inbox of messages, but I found no reply from her. I kept my mobile aside and brushed my teeth.

It is 6:30am, the light outside is dim and fully cloudy, the continuous rain, cool air from the balcony and the hot vapouring coffee in my hands made me feel comfort in my room.

While I am enjoying this rain, my mobile started to ring. I lifted the call, it is from our college receptionist.

College receptionist: today is declared as an holiday.

Me: I know, for this continuous rain definitely our college will announce a holiday.
College receptionist: no, not for this continuous rain, it is because a girl student met with an accident                                         yesterday night and she was spot dead.
I paused for a moment and enquired her name in a low tone; there is a silence in the call and the sounds of the falling rain echoing in my ears.
The College receptionist told “HER” name.

All of a sudden my senses blocked, a big thunder roared in the sky, now the continuous rain looks like crying tears of the nature for “HER” death.

Slowly a tear drop ran from my eye and my mouth struggled to speak to College receptionist, so I ended the call and went to the balcony, and cried bitterly on that cloudy rainy morning…….
